Legal Aid for Vietnam

The Leaders Lead On-Demand: Vietnam Legal Aid Legislation and Implementation program explored legal aid policy and implementation in the United States. Four professionals from Vietnam gained a hands-on understanding of effective legal aid regulatory framework and implementation of best practices against the backdrop of the proposed revised legal aid legislation in their county. To achieve this, the exchange looked at the relevant legislation and regulatory framework explored organizational models and processes for effective implementation at the federal and state level, discussed building a collaborative legal aid network, looked at best practices in effective communication, and examined methods for ensuring quality.
