Media Law in Myanmar

The Leaders Lead On-Demand: Media Law in Myanmar exchange focused on drafting the country’s newmedia laws. Seven Americans conducted fact-finding exercises, workshops, and consultancies with thedrafting groups. Moreover, they provided written recommendations for the draft laws. A delegationfrom Myanmar also had a two-week working consultancy in the U.S., combining exposure to relevantinstitutions in Washington, DC, New York and New Jersey with working sessions on improving existingmedia law drafts.
